Community
Roman Oil feels strongly that a business that operates in a community has an obligation to give back to it. We have supported countless organizations and groups over the years but have found involvement in youth programs especially rewarding. During the past 50 years, our involvement has included:
- Sponsorship and coaching of little league baseball, girls' softball, basketball and soccer teams
- Being involved in the restoration of the Hubbard Park Pool
- Helping with the construction of the new Boys and Girls Club
- Pitching a hand with the landscaping of the Meriden Library and Girls Inc. properties.
Members of our staff have served on the board of:
- The Meriden YMCA
- Boys and Girls Club
- Meriden Rotary Club
- Meriden Girls' Softball League
- Meriden Rotary Foundation
We remain committed to building relationships with small local businesses and serve on the board of Castle Bank & Trust Company. Many of our employees are affiliated with the local volunteer fire department. We consider it an honor to be in a position to help so many worthy organizations.
