How to find an oil company that is the right fit for you

Whether you just moved into a new home or have decided to shop for a new oil company, the decision can be overwhelming. The good news is that having many options is empowering to you as a consumer and it is also one of the many benefits of being an oil heat customer. Some people choose their company based on the lowest price per gallon. They like shopping the price, monitoring their own oil and paying cash to the driver.  Most cash companies do not have a service department therefore when you have no heat in the middle of the night you will have to rely on a separate company for that service.  Besides having to search for another company, you will end up paying more for a service call since you are calling a service only company. Service only companies need to bill out service calls at a higher rate since it is their only stream of revenue.
